My School's Cool

My School's Cool is back! Sooner Mall is awarding $20,000 in cash prizes to local schools during the 2011-2012 school year!

My School's Cool (MSC) is a community-driven program committed to building relationships with schools in Norman, Noble and Moore. Each dollar you spend earns one point for your school. A variety of extra credit opportunites are available to help earn points twice as fast! When the final bell rings, the school with the most points wins $10,000!

Any Sooner Mall customer can help a participating school. Bring your receipt (dated October 1 through April 30) to your school coordinator or the locker display in the Old Navy Wing.

Safety Town

Safety Town will be back in June 2012.

Safety Town is conducted by Sooner Mall and the Norman Police Department to educate children ages 5* and 6* about bicycle, street and personal safety. Each free session consists of five 50-minute classes that run Monday through Friday in the month of June. Upon completion of the program, each child receives a graduation certificate and goodie bag courtesy of Sooner Mall. They also get to keep the helmet they wore during safety training!

Each week, there are three different class times offered: 9 a.m., 10:10 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. During the first and third weeks of June, an additional class is offered at 6 p.m.

*Children must be 5 years old by September 1st and cannot turn 7 years old before July 1st.

OKCityCard Available at Sooner Mall

The Allied Arts OKCityCard is available at the Sooner Mall Management Office! The OKCityCard entitles its owner to a full year of discounts, many of which are two-for-one offers. Sold for $50, proceeds support Allied Arts.

The OKCityCard features over 100 discount partners, including restaurants, attractions, performing arts, events, museums, sports home games, shopping and more. Partner locations and venues stretch from Guthrie, Edmond and Western Avenue to Bricktown, Norman and beyond.

Sooner Mall supports Habitat for Humanity Cleveland County

Sooner Mall has partnered with Habitat for Humanity Cleveland County to work on elimination of poverty housing in our community. This is a part of national partnership between General Growth Properties (Sooner Mall's parent company) and Habitat for Humanity International. Over the next three years, shoppers will be invited to participate in fundraising events, awareness campaigns and volunteer opportunities to benefit Habitat for Humanity Cleveland County.
